Default whining at 80

Hello every body, bradshawt168 here. i have a 2004 crossfire just got it a couple of months ago and it has been a realy good ride. I am gettiing a whining noise coming from the right rear at 80 mph. the more i increase my speed past 80 the noise seems to get lower. I am thinking it maybe a bearing. just checking to see any body has run into this. take it easy on me guys new to the site.

Thanks

What throttle condition does the noise happen at, light steady, accel, decel etc. Is it only the right rear? Does it go away when turning? Need more info.

bradshawt168 here. the only time I get the whining noise is 80 mph and hold it at that speed other than that I have no noise any where else. not under accelaration or decel. and the whining only comes from the right rear.

If, and I say IF, I was doing 80 I would know where the whining was coming from: my wife in the right seat !

Seriously, it could easily just be a tire doing that.

I saw the title of this thread and thought that was to be expected, after all I'm whining at 74.

Now that was funny....... If only at a certain speed, then I might think the tire as well...maybe out of balance at that speed...but I would think you would feel a change in the ride if that were the case... But, I will tell you this, I wouldn't be doing 80 if you think it is a wheel bearing...spinning out at 80 usually doesn't end well....
