Hello. I am new to the site and look forward to getting tips from other members. I own a 2004 Crossfire. I've owned it for about 2 years and have only put a couple of thousand miles on it. It sits covered in the garage most of the time. It was garage kept when I purchased it and is in excellent condition and has 30,000 miles on it. It's a fun car to drive but will definitely get you a ticket if you aren't careful! I also just purchased a Harley Sportster and got the closest color I could to match my car Looking forward to reading other posts!

Welcome aboard from Maryland. We're having a big show at Linganore Winery, Mt. Airy, MD on August 9th, 1000am - 300pm. Great opportunity to meet some good Crossfire folks from the area. LMK if you need more info. A few owners from VA are coming to the show.

Hi, I am new to the forum and I would like to see if anybody can answer my questions. We bought a 2005 Crossfire in October. We discovered it had a lot of issues and took it to get repaired to a nearby Chrysler dealership. I won't go into details about the nightmare experience it was but the bottom line is that we got our car back in mid-December. Some of the things they were supposed to repair/replace were not repaired or replaced and some of the things they supposedly repaired, failed again a few weeks after we got the car back from their service shop.
On the service invoice it says that Parts and Labor are guaranteed for 12 months or 12K miles yet when we approached another local Chrysler dealership service department we were told that they cannot honor that warranty as their Chrysler dealership is under different ownership than the one we used for the initial repairs.
Has anybody had a similar experience and does anybody know if this is truly Chrysler policy and do we have any recourse to get the repairs done properly without having to fully pay for them all over again?
Thanks in advance for all you help.

Now all you need is an adjustable wing that goes up at 65mph on that Sportster

First off, you should really start a new thread and specify all your issues.
We have many knowledgeable people here, I'm sure you will get help.
Second, do NOT take it back to ANY Chrysler dealer, usually a bad mistake.
If you cannot find a fix here on fix on a particular issue, it is best to find a MB specialist shop ( not a MB dealer ).
They are usually the least expensive, and the most willing to help.

Were these warranty repairs under a Chrysler plan or under an aftermarket plan? If Chrysler, then any Chrysler dealer should do them. If aftermarket, then the dealer that sold the warranty would be the best bet. But I suspect that there was no warranty in place and that you paid for the repairs, in which case the dealer that did the repairs is offering a warranty on their work, and in which case you would need to take it back to them for any warranty work on their repairs. I would start with that, but do not authorize any additional repairs or expenditures. They will throw parts and money at the car until they either fix the car or give up. See how you make out with them and if their warranty will be any good or not, and follow the previous advice and not take the car to any dealers again. They don't really know what they're doing and will cost you much more than the repair should cost.
Please provide an overview of the problems that you're having. It's safe to assume that someone here will have had the same experience and can direct you in the best way to the most inexpensive fix.

... and, RabbiRutberg, when you do this, put it in it's own thread so it will get the attention it deserves as your car problems will just get lost in a thread such as this.

To the OP - welcome to the forum!! Glad you finally found us - you'll be happy you did

Nice rides!!
