Woo hooo!!! Installed my avic z1 head unit yesterday.
I am still waiting for the bluetooth adapter to come in
I'll try to post some pics tonight!!!

The ones on the sides are plenty.
Seriously, the cabin is so small the center vents won't be missed.

If you lived in South Florida like I do, you'd miss them, I assure you. Especially in the middle of the summer.

I have been running around town with this new unit and the features are quite remarkable.
Anyone looking for navigation should definitely give pioneer a good look.

Whoa, nice craftsmanship. How did you mold those new pieces? Fiberglass?

Actually, it is plastic that I plastic welded together "fancy way to say melted".
I then finished it with epoxy. I still need to do some finish work and prep it for clear coat to match the rest of the center console.
I'll post new pics when I feel it is done, I just need to find some time to work on it.

I found a bypass for the lock out feature. PM if you need to know how.
