Default ipod adapter for navigation unit

what do you guys think of this:

or this:

i think the navigation head unit can control a changer, unlike the standard cd head unit.

I am not sure this will work.

I had stopped by Blitsafe last year with the radio and we tested a few items and they did not have an interface or could read the radio changer port. At the time they were willing to work with me as long as I covered the development costs.

What you need to ask them is if this unit operates on the Becker CD changer protocol that is used with the Traffic Pro or any of the current Becker radios.

If it does, and simulates a cd in the changer playing, then the input port on the radio will remain open and you can send what ever signal you want into the radio.

In my case I have a becker changer audio looped through a Harman Kardon Drive and Play which gives me the option of both the cd in the headunit, cd changer, or Ipod. The data cable runs directly to the headunit. As long as a CD is playing in the changer the input is active.

Please keep us up to date on your findings.
