Help installing new radio and amp

Default Help installing new radio and amp
I just bought a JVC KD-AVX2 receiver, and a JVC iPod adapter. Crutchfield suggested a new amp for the rear speakers. Does anyone know how to gain access to the existing amp? I believe it is in the passenger foot well under the rug...?

Does anyone have any advice on doing all of this stuff?
