Well I had a really long thread with details posted, but it said I could only upload 4 images at once so I had to delete that. Basically, I have a Garmin Nuvi 350, Pioneer DEH-P4800MP, and a Harman Kardon Drive + Play for my iPod, hooked up through an auxiliary input.

Quite a big job. You did a nice job on the install. I guess you're using the H/K Drive & Play for the pod?

Do let me know how you like the Nuvi. I have been thinking about buying one. I want something I can move from car to car easily and walk with. It would be great if it worked out in the woods but I doubt that is part of it's stock maps. Does anyone know if rural and wilderness maps can be added to the Nuvi? I know they offer them. I work in the woods some on weekends. It would be very helpful.

 

although there is some mismatch, but overall I think its great.

 

I just bought a harman/kardon drive + play as well, and was wondering how did you hard wired it for power? Do you have any steps or pics? I am clueless on how to do it, and I do not want to use my cigarette lighter as the main source of power.
