Default Pioneer NAV N3 - Radio

I recently bought the Pioneer N3 and I can listen to XM but the radio doesn't get reception. The guy at Al & Eds says that he doesn't know how to fix it. he claimed that the European windows are bad for allowing reception. I told him that the stock Radio worked fine. I was wondering if he missed something, maybe an after market antenna or something. Also I used the have the Nav N2 in my F150 before buying the xfire and never had reception problems with listening to XM. I now find that I loose SAT signal more frequent than with my F150. Any Suggestions?

Thanks,
Allen

Can't help with the radio, but I have a question about your signature.

2005 Crossfire (SRT) Black #15953

Does this mean you have a 2005 Black SRT6?
What is the 15953? Is it the last 5 digits of your VIN?

The 15953 was a placard that came with my car. I assumed that it was the number everyone else is using.

Not sure what placard your referring to.
Check your VIN # on the dash at the bottom of the windshield and check the last 5 digits.
Is yours an SRT6? Coupe or Roadster?

Since the SRT6s are so rare - we try to keep track of them with a database with information such as:
2005 Black SRT6 Roadster - Last 5 digits of VIN.

How did you swing a Borla exhaust on a SRT6? Thought they only made those for the non-SRT Crossfires?

I went to PepBoys and asked if they had Borla and they said yes. It cost $800 installed.
Just updated my signature with the last 5 of my VIN.

Well, 32760 is the lowest VIN for a SRT6 roadster we have.
Just to verify - yours has a supercharged engine and SRT6 embroidered on the headrests - and its a roadster?

Thanks.

If its not supercharged then I am guessing its not an SRT6. Then its an SRT5??

No such thing as a SRT5.
If you have cloth interior - you have a base roadster. If you have leather interior - you have a limited roadster.

Check ebay. They usually have seats from wrecked Crossfires.

wouldn't you know simply be looking at the engine for the super charger which is right on top of the engine? or the SRT6 badge on the rear panel? or the SRT in the gauge cluster? or the SRT stitching on the seats?

EDIT>.. i just saw the dates of the previous posts...
