Is there a way to tell whether a car has nav or not by looking at it?

 

Yes...if you look at the top row of buttons on the radio there will be a black (blank) button dead center.

 

Correct. If there's a black button in the middle = no NAV. If all the top row are silver = NAV.

 

Mine has seven buttons across the top. Far right button says "NAV". On mine the center button is blank but not black. Mine has been replaced under warranty. Maybe the original had a black center button - can't remember.

 

You have the nav.
