Default Help With Stereo Sound Quality

Just purchased a SRT-6 with the stereo/Nav system.
I can not believe how terrible the sound is. I have adjusted
the sound to +8 bass and -5 treble and it still sounds "tinny".
I even tried playing a CD (some systems sound better) with
the same results. It sounds like the sound is all coming from
below the dash on some cheap set-up. The speakers are all
working - I can hear sound coming from all of them when I
specifically listen to each speaker. I have read how others believe
that while the stereo system may not be the greatest, it isn't
that bad - so I must not be adjusting something correctly?

I don't think your subs or your amp is working right. There is one sub behind each seat, Check to be sure they are working. The factory amp splits the sound before it goes to the speakers so it might be cutting off all the lows. Most of the time the sound has too much bass in a crossfire.
