Default little speaker upgrade

I added two tweeters onto the ledge just behind the seat above the seat belt holder, what a difference. I was never happy with the sound of the stock radio, the capacitor tweaking helped but the addition of the small tweeters, connected to the door speakers really filled the cabin with rich crisp sound. Installation was a cinch, just hide the wires and tap into the door speaker wire and stereo phonic ecstasy. I was a little worried they might blow but the summer is over and no issues. $$ input is low, anyone can install and you have the highs all with a much punchier sounding base.

Do you have a limited, base, or srt-6?

Because on the SRT & Limited there are already tweeters installed...

Hmmmm, very interesting. I know how you can get rid of that wire. It will tuck neatly under that panel you know.

Not bad, I don't think I'll be doing that as I installed a set of Infinity Kappa speakers in my doors and they sound even better that the stock Infinity speakers. Just as an fyi be advised that the factory speaker set up is 2 ohms not 4.

the wire is hidden all the wayfrpm the door except for the little bit showing,, and the white wire had to glow in the picture, could put shrink wrap on it if I was that concerned andin real life it is behind me, and it sounds great,, the 2 vs 4 ohms,,, they are in parallel, and so this will reduce the resistance,,,the effect of the sound quality is key,,,and it is much better than stock.
