bad speaker cable?
hi, ive been noticing that lately, since its been a lot colder, that only the speakers on the right side of my crossfire are working when i turn the car on. maybe around ten minutes later or so the left side kicks in. could it be because i have a weak audio cable that isnt conducting well enough until the car warms up? i had crutchfield install my amp and sub about two months ago and was wondering if it was a weak connection with my headunit or does it have anything to do with connections with the amp?
by the way, if anyone is lacking bass in their crossfire, i highly recommend the custom fiberglass sub box from wickedcas.

Check the connector that goes into the back of th radio. They aren't in there all that tight and I noticed that I could make my speakers cut out when I wiggled the connector. You'll need a pair of those little knife edge tools to pull the radio out but you can get a set for less than $5.00.
Maybe you could swing by a car stereo shop or a dealer and ask to borrow them for a couple of minutes.
