Default Problem with OEM Nav Radio

Hi guys...

The radio stops working with no reason........when I turn the car off and then off...the radio starts making some tic..tic..tic...noise....... if I turn off the car for 2 or 3 ours...it works agian fine until I turn the car off.....

Could it be the Radio...or the amplifier...?

My car is under warranty...I took it to the dealer and they order a new radio....that was 2 months ago.......... this is crazy....... how long should I wait.......it is frustraiting....2 months to get a new radio....they say is back order from the factory.......

They don't even know if the problem is the radio...It could be the amplifier....It will take another 2 months.......?

Thanks god is just a radio and not another thing..... Is it going to be like that with this car....

Thanks a lot....

when the dealer orders warranty radios they don't order new they order thru an exchange program it usualy takes about 3 days they call you when the exchange comes in you bring the car they swap it out and send the old one back to be repaired to use on the next car....hope this helps i work in parts for a dodge dealership...

Mine too. Dealer ordered on a Saturday and installed that Tuesday.

The "stops working" thing is obviously a problem, but the tic-tic-tic could possibly be a different thing. If you have a CD in the player, remove the CD (so the player is empty) and see if the tic-tic-tic doesn't go away.
