Default AM Reception Problem

I have an 05 Limited Coupe. Reception on FM stations (stock raDIO) IS FINE. Reception on AM is full of static. Dealer said this was due to back window tint film. The film that I had installed is not metalized. Any suggestions to fix this problem short of removing the window tint? Thanks for your thoughts.

What os AM? Anyybody still listen to that. You know it's kind of hard to listen to the IPOD with the earplugs and the top down but that is getting negative isn't it. Have to put Tony Robbins in the CD. LIve with Passon as tonly says.

I would bet the antenna is loose! You still would get fm, but am would be shaky. And I seriously would doubt it has anything to do with the window film.

Thanks RMANDERMAN. The antenna in the coupe is in the back window defogger grids. No antenna like the roadsters have. But I will look at the grids again.
To R.S. Is your reply to my serious request for help supposed to be humorous? By the way, You may want to brush up on your typing skills. But,Thanks, I did enjoy your reply.
