Question Question about radio

I do not have my nav disk yet or any information about the system that is not in the owners manual. So this may mean nothing. My radio displays the phrase ALM: 39. What does this mean?

From the manual - page 104...

GPS WAIT
and ALM:OO appear in the display when
the GPS receiver requires a download of the most current
almanacs from the satellite. This happens when
battery power has been reapplied following a battery
disconnect.

page 105

GPS
OK: GPS reception is available.

1 indicates a one-dimensional positioning

2 indicates a two-dimensional positioning

3 indicates a three-dimensional positioning
• S: indicates the number of satellites received

• ALM:
indicates the number of downloaded almanacs.

Goto this link and and check the section in the back of the nav manual I think you need to calibrate your GPS. Just a thought. ALMS 39 means you have loaded 39 almanacs. http://www.majormotorshotrods.com/_d...ion_Manual.pdf

You can download the full User's Guide for the Nav system plus both the East and West Nav CDs from the documentation thread.
