Can anyone help with GPS antenna mounting?
Hey everyone,
I just purchased a GPS unit that needs to have an external antenna mounted on top of the roof...
This isn't really a problem, but getting the wire from the antenna into the trunk kinda is. Is there any safe / effective method to do this? I'm not sure how to get it into my trunk area..
Thanks in advance.

My Question Why Not Up Front Under The Rear Hood Flap. This Would Be The Same As Out Back And Very Easy To Do Just Run Cable In Through The Rubber Plug Under Battery Holder

1st, what exactly do you mean by "up front under the rear hood flap"??? Sorta confusing..
2nd, this is what the antenna plug looks like

Notice how I circled the plug, it seems a little big and I don't know if it'll fit through the grommet ok.
3rd, the box I have to plug the antenna is in the back, so if I could just go straight down some easy way, that'd be the best.
sorry just got back on the plug would not be a problem but did not known that unit was in the trunk also I ASSUMED THAT THE HOOK UP WAS IN DASH. CONFUSED ON MY SIDE CHECK SEARCH I THINK YOU MIGHT FIND MORE TO YOUR TYPE INSTALL SORRY FOR THE MISS INFO GIVEN
