I didn't take off the stock piece I just have a box installed below the speaker and ran a piece all the way across to make it look like it was in the origian shape. The box is approx. 9''s from the fuel tank to the top of the sub.

Hey! Viper, your enclosure looks great! How much space does it leave you between the box and the back of the trunk? Not to throw off the flow, but a company called CDT Audio did an install similar to yours with options that would hold 2 10"s or 1 12. Here are a couple pics. More can be seen at www.CDTAudio.com. Looks really nice, however I like that yours is more plush.

I can sell it all together or in pieces.
Fiberglass enclosures, plexiglass amp rack, false floor, Diamond Audio D7152 amp and two Resonant Engineering subs shipped in the lower 48 states. $1500. Just as an FYI the enclosures would cost $3,000 the amp rack $75, the amp $499 and the subs were $300 each. That totals $4174 before tax!! The subs weigh a ton and the shipping is driving up the price.
Fiberglass enclosures, plexiglass amp rack, false floor, Diamond Audio D7152, you would supply your own subs. $1100
Fiberglass enclosures, false floor, you would construct your own amp rack to fit another amp and supply your own subs. $950 shipped
Smokey that's a sweet set up too...I only used up 4'' from the fuel tank up so needless to say I still have some room...but not a whole lot seeing how there isn't a whole lot to begin with! How much is that set up?

I'm not sure how much a setup like that would cost. I never contacted CDT about it, but merely copied pictures from their website.
As of right now I cannot get under the carpet. All I have to do is take the box out and cun a nice straight line under the carpet (on the card board) where the box ends. And yes it's only 4''s from the base of the wall (Fuel tank) so there's more then enough room to put a couple groceries.

The box is attached with 'L' brackets at the top and one large (width) 'L' bracket on the bottom. It was a royal pain in the rear but with an extra set of hands it got done somewhat easy.
I do not know who the owner of this Crossfire Roadster is, but they live in the Dallas, TX. area and posted their car on the JL AUDIO website. Pretty slick set up. Two 13.5" subs behind the seats and a trunk full of amps!!!
