Default odd engine noise/whine

The odd part is that it only lasts for about the first minute or two after starting the engine. Any guesses? Anything electrical in our car that's only achive for a few minutes after starting the engine?

Thanks

Dh

Open the hood next time and have a look around. How many miles? Any outdoor parking near falling leaves? Your cat's not missing is it?

Missing my orange tabby, how did you know?

Jk. I left out some major details, the problem with using a phone to type.

The noise is coming from my tweets (fluctuates with the engine rpm). And it's after adding a new comp set and amp to a base model.

Sorry for leaving that out.

Check the wire runs and see if you have any coiled (uncoil), power wires near sound wires (use separate paths), sound wires near electic motors (reroute). Could also be a grounding issue (try different ground location).

It's the fact that it only lasts a couple of minutes then goes away that has me stumped. Maybe it's the usual suspects, if there's something that only works for a few minutes initially, then it could be induction noise from the rca's.

As it stands the rca wires are on the drivers side while power and remote (and ground) are on the passenger side.

Thanks

Could it be the battery drawing extra charge, after the initial start-up.

Could explain why it goes away soon after it is running.

I am running my remote wire all the way to the fuse box under the hood, maybe I'll start by relocating that temporarily to see if it goes away.
