I got mine at Wal-Mart for $4.50 - others report a price as low as $2.79

I'll be home in 1 1/2 hours and can post the part number. It came as a "Ford-Chevy" or something kit. Had two keys for the Crossfire and two for the Ford radios.

The Beetle is my daughter's car. She likes it, but I do like the old beetles.

And Rudy, they are not the same.

FP, I rented a multiple key kit the first time I did my console and that kit had the same key for VW and MB. I think one is longer(VW or MB) and will work in both.???

I have both the "Universal" pair and a pair of OEM that came with the car. If you need either, let me know-just send me a SASE and I'll give them away.
If someone has a use for my OEM non-nav Infinity/Becker headunit-That can be had for a bottle of decent (not even the good stuff!) scots whiskey. But the taker would have to pay for shipping too. Sorry!

Just PM me?

Mike, I have the MB keys. They don't work.
I looked on ebay, and the Beetle keys look different.

The one shown in the top right (and bottom left) of the photo is correct one for the Xfire, print the photo full scale and trace around it on thin plastic, a credit card is good and it saves you money two ways. The width of the widest part of the key is .350" and this just goes in the slot in the radio. A length of 2" is OK.

I think he posted in that thread, but I'm not sure it was he who was to pass them on.

Max, stirring the pot are we? LOL j/k

I sent an email to Becker when I bought my car and asked them where to acquire keys and the gentleman sent them out to me at no cost. Pretty good deal

this member wanted the spare set i had and then wants to pass the set to whoever needs it next. sounds like a good idea so they are on their way to him!
