It is that electrical noise that is causing the problem. I purchased a in-line Ground Loop Isolator from Sonic Electronix for 12.95 with free shipping. It has good reviews and it worked for me. Easy to install at the Nav Control Box with the 3.5 mm jacks. Part # PAC SNI-1/3.5 (3.5mm Ground Loop Noise Isolator Works W/ iPod / Zune / iRiver and Others) Car Audio Stereo - Car Subwoofers - Car Amplifiers and Speakers Hope this helps.

When setting up the CD Folders on a memory stick for USB, is the CD Folder 6 or 10 that you use for Direct Input a empty folder named CD6 or CD10 or do you not use any folder at all?

Rudy,

I have a Crossfire SRT6 Convertible with the infinity factory Nav unit and was wondering if your still offering your wiring harness + ipod interface for purchase? I would be willing to buy it at the non-group rate, or if you could point me in the direction of a similar product. Im a little confused because I emailed Solisto directly and asked if my head unit was compatible and was told explicitly that my head unit was compatible but posters have said other wise, can you clear the up for me? Thanks for the great work you've put into the community.

Make sure you have a decent, quality shielded audio cables connected to the mini-jack. I have a cable plugged into the box all the time and the other end just hanging around the steering wheel. I only plug it into my phone when needed. What I have is usually NOT recommended, because un-terminated cable can attract even more static, but despite that I don't get false switches, probably because my cable is OK.

You don't need any fancy Monster cables (that's a rip-off company). Just a decent, properly shielded cable. And make sure it's not too long, just long enough to cover your needs.

A few people have asked about these and if I get enough interest, I'll set up another group buy. If you'd like to be added to the list, post here or send me a PM.

So far, we are at one.

Can I just buy this without a group buy?

I never liked group buys, people get rude and impatient.

I would also like to buy one of these units. Does anyone have one they no longer use?

I bought and installed the Solisto Extra a couple of months ago and have definitely been enjoying the improved volume and quality over the wired FM Transmitter I was using before. I have only one problem with the unit:

Whenever I turn the car off to run in and out of somewhere and come back out, the unit has forgotten where on the CD I was and the radio defaults to the FM setting. This is quite annoying if I want to hear the next song on the playlist. I believe the headunit initially reads that there's no magazine, but give it a couple of seconds and it will recognize it, but you have to start all over.

Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated.
