Can either RIOT or ImportLab give me a idea of where they found the removal tools? and are they identified by the brand of the stereo unit or the model of the car?
Walmart back in the stereo section is your best bet to buy them ASAP. You'll be looking for a little clear blister pack that has them and one or two other sets of radio removal tools. They are listed for a VW/Saab/BMW usually.

You're all set. Just have one person left to pay.
hey everyone, new crossfire owner here, just bought it today actually, 05 limited, and the ipod situation was immediately the most crucial thing for me, and i found you all. i had no idea they didnt have aux in until i when and actually bought it. are you still taking orders on these?
im sure its in here somewhere and i have overlooked it, but, before i commit to this, can you briefly explain to me how it works, and what all the product you are making entails ?
You can connect an iPod or iPhone to the factory nav radio and make it think it's a CD changer. It also lets you connect a USB thumb drive to it for the same purpose as well as an auxiliary input such as satellite radio or another portable music player. It's plug and play and you can make up to 5 play lists to control as CDs with 99 tracks and then an additional 6th "CD" that hands over control to the iPod so you can play more than the 495 songs that you can use with the playlist feature. Everything is outlined in the first few posts of this thread. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
Take care.
Take care.
