Default Stock Crossfire Radio Question / Zune

Is the stock Crossfire Stereo Unit considered to be Chrysler or Mercedes?

Also, I just wanted to post something other Zune owners might not know about.

It's definitely not a "Chrysler" radio. It doesn't show up in any other model.

And none of the Becker head units standard to Mercedes in the era accepted CDs.

A few near-misses on this site...

I don't have a way to make the stock radio control the Zune but I have something that will get the audio into the radio if you have the factory nav radio. You'd just have to connect it via 3.5mm plug.

You can find more info here.

The Radio in the Crossfire is a Becker unit.

I think I mentioned this in another thread, but:
HiFiSoundConnection.com sells the Zune Core Pack for your car. You can get it for around $40.00. It comes with the core unit, which hooks up to the AUX port (RCA l/r/vid out) through a 3.5mm a/v jack. It also has a feature that lets you hardwire it or use the lighter adapter. You can charge AND play through the Zune plug with out having to use the headphone jack.
(it's the square black thing in your pic.)

You'll also need to get the plug for the back of the head unit, 3.5mm end to plug in to this.

Just a heads up, there is no auxilliary input on these factory radios. Only way to pipe sound into the factory radio is to fool it into thinking you have a cd changer connected.

They aren't, it's just not possible unless you want an FM transmitter, and those are rather flakey. (at least in my area)
