ahhhh, good to see I could help someone only thing is, i believe this will only play/charge older ipods and they need certain playlist names to recognize (clarion1, clarion2, etc...) I have the 3rd gen touch, it plays but wont charge, just a fair warning

 

First time to post. Great forum, great help on installing an aftermarket head unit. I just installed a Sony CDX-M60UI in the wife's Crossfire. I wanted something cheap but with an Aux and USB input for the Iphone. Works great. No issues wiring in, other than the usual bracket having no place to grip. Ended up drilling two large holes on the bottom of the flat area for the tabs to bend into. Check out the radio. Not the flashiest, but does the job. Lots of functions, good sound.

Please give more details... I have that same unit in my Sailboat and love it. I have been thinking about putting one in the Crossfire but was not sure how well the wiring would work out. Can you give some details of your intstall and wiring connections as well as a couple of pictures?

I have radio very similar. My only issue is that the illuminated color does not match the rest of the dash.
