Default Radio cable Question

I have installed my Satelite Radio in the 6 and spent a lot of time running the antenna to the back of the car only to have damaged it in the process , Now I;m thinking I would like to go thru the fire wall and mount the new antenna up in front of the lower windshield , Question where would be the best place on the passenger side of car to pass thru,, HELP ME.....

Howard

I personally would try mounting the antenna in the center of the windshield right behind the mirror off the the passenger side and see how that works. Use some double sided 3m tape, not the cheap stuff either, you'll thank yourself if you ever need to remove it. Either that or see if the antenna gets a strong enough signal that you can put it under the dash pad up by the vents. While it's not the easiest thing to do, not seeing any wires is in my book, always the best option. Good luck with the install.

Do you think it will get a good enough signal mounted on the inside of the windshield up behind the mirror

It should get a great signal from there Howard. Many times installers will mount them under the dash pad, and still get a good enough signal. Good luck with it.

Is it possible to get behind the glovebox with out much trouble that way i can put it up under the dash on that side and have no exposed wires except for about 3 inches at the back of the radio i can put the antenna in the floorboard and the reception is still good 3 bars so under the dash above glovebox should work as well,

The glove box comes out fairly easy. It's just a lot of screws but you can get back there just fine with it off.
