Kenwood deck

Default Kenwood deck

I am getting my crossfire out of storage on thursday and on monday I am installing my new kenwood kvt 696 deck what do you guy think of it, it should look pretty good. I am also doing the bluetooth and probably the back up camara.

I have the same (older) model in my SRT with GPS and Sirius built into the unit. Also added an ampliphier and new door speakers. Sounds awesome and very loud if I want.

I like the look of the deck and have an interest in getting one like it but I have heard too many horror stories about the motors always burning out on the pop out displays.

Post pics and let us know if it has a bad glare.

I have had a cheep sound storm one in my bravada for over 5 years now and it still works great. Hell my heater core over is broke and it pours heat on it all the time and it still wont die haha.

I have the older Kenwood KVT-514 as well... couldn't ask for anything more!! I have XM and the AWESOME AWESOME Garmin nav system.. it is by far the best thing I put in my car..

Althoguh I don't see the differences in-between my 514 and that 696, perhaps more voltages?

yea there is not that much difference the preouts are 5v and the big one is it's build for the new nav. that looks real cool

New navigation??? I looked and couldn't find anything.. I only see the KNA-G510... i'm curious!!

Damn you... now I will have to buy a new headunit to get that..

I got the deck installed to day and it is awesome. no glare or anything I phone works great, I also decided to go with the Garmin unit that goes with it here are some pics ,,,,,
