For those of you with a pop up screen head unit, I was wondering if having it was an inconvenience to your Air Condition controls. On some of the models that I've seen, it blocks it, and I was contemplating if it was worth getting one.

I don't have the pop out head unit on my crossfire but it blocked the same amount on my srt4 and it didn't bother me at all. I think if you wouldn't mind moving it down to turn the air on, then you would enjoy it

 

I have had my Clarion unit for over a year. Not really a problem to adjust controls. In fact you can vary the angle of the screen. I have done that and can reach around the screen if I have to. Honestly, I don't constantly adjust them, so........

One of the best features is my low light full color backup camera. I was always afraid to parallel park because I could not judge the distance to the car behind when I got close. Between the wing and high window, I was ultra cautious. Now I can get within an inch or two without hitting them.

 

How about a "pop-down" screen?

5 inch detachable screen, DVD, USB connector, Bluetooth, AV connector for your backup camera you buy separately. While the kit doesn't have GPS, it does come with a GPS antenna

That and the trim seems to match the console.

 

I just put in the new kenwood kvt 696 and I love it. It does cover the controls for the speed and where the air blows but the temp dial on each side u can still move with out folding it in and if u do need to fold it in it is super easy u just tap one button
