Default Body Control Module & Controller AntiLock Brakes

Sorry If this has been posted before. But did search and could not find a definate answer. Just a couple of I think reply. Ok I'm gettiing Alpine amp installed hopefully in the stock amp locations . And the stock amp diagram shows that the body control module & controller antilock brakes are connected to stock amp. I read these are really just for amp power output to raise the volume of the radio when the windows are down or in the case of a roadster when the tops down. Is this correct or do these connection actually control some part of the car? And it a bad idea not to have power running to them. Please I would like info from people that have removed or replaced the stock with an after maket one. What they did for this or if it was even a problem

Thanks
Sive

I had new Aftermaket Amp Installed Tuesday and the cars seems not to have any ill effects from these connection not being hooked up.
