JL Audio amp, and Kenwood head unit
Hey there, I'm a total noob when it comes to car audio, and I welcome any suggestions/comments that you experts here may have for me.
Anyway, I was wondering if installing a new amp/ head unit would help the sound quality any. I've listened to each speaker, and found that they're all working, but the driver door tweeter is very "quiet", and so are the factory subs. The mid-subs are working fine at this point. I don't want to replace any speakers just yet as they're all "working", so I am going to replace my factory infinity nav head unit with a Kenwood KDC-X994, and the factory amp with a JL Audio J2 320.4 amp. Does anyone have any suggestions for mounting the amp in a roadster, or even any other possible solutions for me? I haven't had any of the new parts installed yet, as I wanted to consult the forum first.
As stated before, I'm new, and have little experience with car audio, so go easy on me! lol
Thanks.

I'm not expert when it comes to audio but I will take a shot since I have messed around with this kind of stuff somewhat. That head unit is a good one and you will most likely notice a difference in sound just because of the preset eq that these types of head units come with. In my opinion speakers would probably be your best bet for a real noticeable difference in sound quality. If your like me though and listen to mostly the radio when driving around then I would say just get the head unit and you will most likely be very happy with that.
