WILL AN AMP FROM A 2004 FIT IN MY 2005 ? ALSO, I PULLED DOWN THE FRONT PASSENGER CARPET AND DID NOT SEE THE AMP ? PLEASE ADVISE.

Yes, it will fit.
The amp is on the rear side of the mounting plate.
So you have to release the 3 black plastic screw-nuts first, and then put off the mounting plate.
