my alarm is all crackely

Alarm is very dim and has a crackely noise to it. I figures my batt. Was bad so I replaced that and nothing... So any ideas what would come next?

Yes the alarms do go thru this. Use the search function and look for alarm sounding like a "cricket on crack". Usually requires a new siren/alarm. If you have warranty coverage yet, it probably will be covered. The good part is the new siren that is being used, will give an audible signal when locking and un-locking the car.
