Guys,

Please could someone post a photograph of a skreem module so i can forward onto someone that may have one. I have searched high and low on the net but with no luck...

Thanks a lot mate. I would love to take up the offer but apparently I need the whole set up from the same vehicle.
I did have the units in the picture but they were from an auto and mines a manual, so when Chryslers fitted it, the ecu was looking for the in Park mode...:
I have hunted high and low and am really struggling to get these parts (used).

I think someone is yanking your chain(and ripping you off) ..... you should be able to replace the Skreem module without having to change the ECU....or the ignition ring either.... Rudy or someone else can confirm that.... but I am pretty sure that is correct...

 

yep you have to leave ign in on position for 3 hours with battery charger hooked up. this is for a used one. have done it and it works

 

Guys the reason I was looking for the complete unit was because I think the car has been attempted to be started over the dreaded '30' times which is meant to ruin the ECU. However, I was unaware that I could use a skreem only from another vehicle.
The guys at Chrysler are being very helpful but haven't come across this problem before. They are being patient with me and have let me keep my car in their workshop whilst i try and find the parts. But after 3 full days searching breakers etc I'm starting to lose hope.
The problem I'm having is trying to find someone with a manual transmission.

I'm running out of options fast.
