Extra pins on the back of my Infinity (no Nav)

Default Extra pins on the back of my Infinity (no Nav)

Hi All, I know this topic has been beaten to death, and I know there is no auxiliary input on the Infinity no-nav system. However, I can't find anything that says what the extra pins on the back are actually for. Are they just there because it's stock hardware and there is nothing wired to it internally, or are they functional? THey look identical to the CD changer pins on the Nav system. See photo:

Besides the non-nav being gray, what is the difference?
