Default No Sound From Rear Speakers

I've searched the forum about this and have only found referrences to the "best bang for the buck" mod. However, that is not causing my issue.
I bought my 2006 Limited Coupe on Easter weekend and all was well. I actually was very impressed with the factory sound system.
This past weekend the wifey and I went out for a drive on Saturday, rolled down the windows and cranked up the tunes.
On Sunday, I ran some errands, also with the tunes going.
Monday morning, I head off to work and NO sound from the rear speakers!! No vibration when I put my hand on the speaker grills. NOTHING. They are just gone.
Any help is appreciated!!

the rear speakers are subwoofers, so there wouldn't be any sound coming out, but there would be vibration. So if there is no vibration like you said, you could have blown them out from playing the tunes to loud, but that probabaly isnt the case. They might have just died, it is a 6 year old car, things happen. But just make sure again, that there is no thumping or vibration from the subs hitting first. Otherwise order some new subs because they probably went. If the music is playing out of the door speakers, that eliminates it being an amplifier issue I'm pretty sure and therefore the subs would be the only problem

Being it is a true 4 channel amp.. possible the rear channel went out? I'd think pull the speaker or at least access the amp and run a straight pin into the amp out leads to test with and wire up a mickey mouse speaker before paying for some new ones...

It does make a difference what type of music you are playing and even what song you are listening to with the system completely stock. The stock subs have a very very limited range of audio playback, limited even more by the stock head unit. Even with my aftermarket head unit and modified amp wiring (seperated front and rear inputs) there are just some songs that the subs sound like they arent doing anything. They just are too small for the low stuff but are limited by a crossover to keep vocal ranges from being played by them.

I thought my rear speakers which, as previously mentioned, are subs, weren't working for a while after picking up my SRT. I finally took the time to move the passenger side seat forward while stopped and put my hand on the sub grilles behind the seats, sure enough I could feel the air puff coming from the sub box. The subs are very small so there isn't much of a noticeable vibration. Worth double checking if you have not already.

I believe that I'll look into this. Seeing that they worked fine on Sunday. I would think that if it was the speakers, I would have gotten some warning signs (sounds) that they were failing. Maybe some buzzing or cracking. I got none of that.

And not impossible (headlight threads..lol) that both could bite the dust at the same time.. but not likely.
