Default Need: Replacement for Stock Subwoofer

As the title suggests, I need a replacement for the stock subwoofers. I dont need them to be special etc, just as good as what was already in there. I honesty dont use the subwoofers behind the seat very often (as I have a 13.5 JL in the back). I searched the forum but didnt found exactly what I wanted to know since I need these speakers to basically operate @ the same RMS/hz as the originals since I do not plan on changing them over to a different amplifier.. I also need them to basically go in without mods.

If you have any suggestions let me know!! I only discovered today that one of them was blown and creating a terrrribbblleee noise that I thought was my JL.. thank god it wasnt lol..

Not a lot of help but here is a thread of replacements https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...rear-subs.html

I tried one of them on the list that were suppose to fit without modification but did not.

You will need to find a replacement that has dual voice coils and they simply aren't available aftermarket.

Look into getting yours repaired, someone else got theirs repaired for like $30

Hey Jesse,
I did see this thread earlier but still didn't find much use from it. I'm a bit afraid to buy a random one because I don't know if it works In a free air environment or if it is a true "as is no mod" setup. I also was worried that the sub written characteristics might not translate into good sound. But thanks for the advice about getting the old one fixed, do you know how long the fix lasts?

Thanks!
Kolme
