hello all! i made this profile so i could ask all you much more knowledgeable crossfire owners a question about this stereo.

a friend of mine with an 04 crossfire with the infinity system wanted a new stereo. he bought a jensen vm9312 stereo from some guy locally. he came over and i hook it all up like i would a any other stereo. with the factory to aftermarket harness soldering all the wires (at least the speaker wires) together. i ran a new ground from the harness of the new stereo. connected the red and blue wires from the new stereo together into the red wire off the oem to aftermarket adapter. and i can NOT figure out why i am not getting any sound out of this stereo.

it powers on a beeps and all that fun stuff. but i cannot get any sound out of the speakers.... i did a little research before coming here and i read that i had to connect the pink wire to the red and blues also. so i did. and still nothing! what do u think it could be? im clueless. all fuses are good. all connections are good. the only thing i havent done it run a test speakers. but i shouldnt have to in a perfect world.

any help would be much appreciated!

yes. pretty sure its a wiring issue. but i could be wrong.
