Default Places to install a set of extra speakers?

I want to instal 2 more speakers in my coupe! I was wondering if anyone else has done this? I thought about putting them on the backside of the "wall" behind the seats but I read that the gas tank is there so that doesn't sound like such a good idea now...

Get a set of roadster rollbar hoops and install some thin speakers in each one.
That'll be about 4" from your ears while you are driving, should get your attention ....

How about in the kick panel area. 6" speakers with tweets in the center made by Clarion worked good for me.

I have 1200 watts in the trunk going to 2 12" subs. I love em but the wife hates it.

I used a set of factory kick panels and added fiberglass. So the fitment is same as it should be and still use the original screw in the center.
For a few days work it will be a fairly simple project for you.

I like that idea but that just puts an extra speaker beside the already existing one so I was thinking more of the trunk area so the sound would even out alittle

Easley...I tend to agree with you...trunk is probably the right area for all around sound placement

Have seen something similar to these mounted behind the headrest next to the sidewall perhaps...

Pure Acoustics HT770 BL Mini Cube Speaker : Speakers | RadioShack.com

Thought about trying to mount so of these...
