If it matters: '07 Ltd. Instructions say to keep clicking on the AUD button until what you want comes up. In this case I want to change the Balance which I'm assuming is for left to right.

Of course when I do this and begin adjusting with the ****, the **** will only adjust the volume. As in, what else would you expect - it's the damn volume control?

Not unlike a recent microwave I bought where you can set the power button from 1 to 10. Set it at say 5 for 3 minutes and it happily starts cooking for 53 minutes at full power.

And in both of these cases, there are no interim instructions.

So how do I get the volume control to turn into an actual AUD adjuster?

My right front speaker goes weird at lower volumes and until the recently ordered speakers arrive (and installed), I'd like to be able to lessen the weirdness.
