Default Difference between Coupe and Roadster

Hello everyone,
I am planning to buy a Crossfire soon, however I really cannot decide between the coupe and the roadster. One thing that might affect my decision would be the sound systems. Do any of you feel or felt a difference when you listened to radio / cd in a coupe and a roadster (with the top closed). Are there much difference in the system components or are they using the same parts?

There are no options on the audio. You can get one with a turn by turn GPS (NO maps) added but, the audio function is always the same.

The thing I like with the coupe is that you can expand your audio system using the trunk space. Please look at my gallery for a great audio set up.

Cool Re: Difference between Coupe and Roadster

I don't know the specs on the NAV unit but the roadster we drove had a better sounding system than my coupe without the NAV radio.
In fact I am contemplating upgrading the stock radio in the near future just for that reason...IT CAN SOUND BETTER!!!

I was wondering why people were complaining about the radio when mine sounds ok. I have the NAV system. I can imagine that you might get a different radio as well as the NAV system for the $2000.

I'm not complaining...but the NAV radio in the roadster DID sound better than the NON-NAV radio in my coupe.

So with the Nav radio you can install a CD Changer OR install an Aux-in port but can you play MP3's or did Chrysler screw us on this radio too?
edit, nevermind... I just found the Becker DTM a navigation radio without MP3... they don't sell it anymore so I'm sure that's the one installed or available for the Crossfire....

Looking over the Becker web site none (except the very high end Nav radio) have any greater output than the other Becker head units, 18/30 watts. Unless the amp/crossover has been adjusted in the roadster I don't any technical reason for the better sound. OR... Perhaps our CD head unit is indeed more crippled than I thought!

I have to agree with buckeyedad this system is pretty nice compared to most stock systems I have heard. Is it that everyone just wants a really loud system or do you think the quality is bad just curious I use to love the loud booming of a system now I just like a good boom but a high quality boom.
