Default CD Player Problems

My Crossfire's CD player abruptly stopped working. The radio and speakers still work fine. Any suggestions for repair or replacement?

Try an inexpensive CD head cleaner. If that doesnt work, its better to replace the unit than to repair it. Check the Forum pages for "more bang for the buck" under audio heading.

What happened? If it over heats, it will stop working, so you have to wait for it to cool off. That protection is built in to prevent damage to the unit.
