low volume only passager speaker working
Yes - I had it but the drivers' side worked. It turned out to be a problem with the head unit. I didn't fix it - just replaced with a Blaupunkt upgrade. I switched out the amp to an Alpine model as well, but the problem was with the head unit.
I had that problem when I had my new head unit installed. It turned out the harness that came with it (from Crutchfield) wasn't the best kind. I don't know how they differ, but I had to drop another $20 for a different one and man, NIGHT and DAY. My radio comes on automatically with the volume at "13." Originally, I had to crank it almost all the way to the top (40) to get hear over the wind with the top down. Now 22 or 23 is more than enough volume. Too bad I blew out the driver's side sub months back. I'm on here to research how difficult it is to replace. And my trunk's subwoofer is misbehaving too. It really blows to have all that potential kick-*** bass that's not working!
