Polarity of rear subs wires

Default Polarity of rear subs wires

Hi. I try the search but not find and specific answer. The rear subs wires have four colors (red ,black ,green and grey).I need to know the polarity (+ -) of each one to avoid errors in the installation of new subs. Thanks for the help.

I really don't think there is any polarity involved, could be wrong.

You are. Phase of speakers is MOST IMPORTANT.

Thanks. I am no audiophile, I seldom even turn the radio on.

Black -
Red +

Cool! This was very helpful. My son and I installed the PLPW6D's in his Crossfire and they worked well.

On the stock rear subs how can you tell which connector is + or -.
