Default Need help with dead speaker diagnosis

The speaker in the right door of my Crossfire is dead. It hums and buzzes, so I know that it is not a broken connection. At first I thought that the cap that I had installed several years ago might have malfunctioned, so I removed it and re-connected the wire. I cranked the volume to see if I was still getting sound from the right subwoofer, and to be honest I can't tell if It is working. I hear plenty of bass, but it might be from the left sub only.

Before I remove the speaker to attempt to check it, does anyone have an idea of what the problem might be? I can tell you that the problem was apparent immediately after I picked up the car from the detail shop yesterday. I don't know what they might have done to screw it up. It seems difficult to pin this on them.
