nav radio drawing down battery
new battery, 14+ vdc charge,
although the complaint is;
Radio seems to turn on/off by itself.
Many yrs ago, radio was replaced by Chry with another stock Nav Radio.
Im going to try pulling fuse to see if that quits dragging battery down to dead.
Any other suggestions
are welcome

Undo the negative battery cable and hook up a multimeter in series on the milliamp scale.
Start plucking fuses until you hit one that drops the excessive draw down,
I think normal draw with ignition off is somewhere 30 - 50 ma

I'll bet $25 it is not the NAV radio.
Do what George says, open the ground cable and insert a meter - I simply can't find it now, but the specification is, I am 99% sure, "not to exceed 40 mA", that is, .04 amp.
Are there ANY aftermarket mods to the sound system? Is there an aftermarket "push button start" or alarm system or remote starter? If not, I'd suspect leaky diode(s) in the alternator.
Why was the battery replaced? That is, what have you been chasing?
