Default 12vdc switched by the ignition in Dome Housing

Is there a 12vdc switched by the ignition, circuit in the Dome Housing?

I have read the posts about picking it up in the side pillar but have not seen anything confirming if there is or is not anything upstairs, which doesn't make sense to me, because if there are wires in that side post some of them must be headed for that dome.

Thanks

Pin 1 of the TPMS module is switched B+ on fuse #1, 5 amp, or pin 3 of the Garage Door Opener.

I was looking for a switched 12 volt supply for my dash cam which is mounted behind the rear view mirror and I thought those wires looked a little too small. So I opted to go to a larger switched wire that was on the radio plug. Fortunately the dash cam wire was ample in length. The wires from the dash cam were hidden behind the upper and side windshield moldings and then through the dash to the radio.

I think everyone should have a dash cam, but be ready to toss it if you cause the accident.

ok, i nailed it, perfect

i used the Radar Mount hardwire with inline fuse and I built a mount as previously done in this Forum, modifying to my taste by making it just abit longer and powder coating it.

the RadarMount wire with gold plated pins worked real slick .. plug and play

thanks for your 2 cents mr Ala

I saw a garmin GPS with an integrated dash cam at Costco the other day. That seemed like a good dual purpose device

My Bluetooth Mike wire comes down behind that trim and any wires there are on their way to the underhood fuse box from the overhead console.
