I have a 2005 SRT-6 roadster. Does anyone know of a replacement stereo that is a direct plug in with no modifications to the wiring that will play MP3's and Satellite XM?

 

My Becker Monza is a direct plug in but it doesn't "do" Satellite but does offer Aux-in and MP3.

Cyber, Where can I get my hands on a Becker and do they come with the silver face plate? I checked your gallery and you have a few different radios. Is the Becker just a simple pull out the old and slide in the new? I understand it doesn't do XM but I'd be happy with MP3.........Thanks.............Andy

you could also get just about any receiver you want, and buy the Scosche VW01 wiring harness from www.sounddomain.com (its actually included free if you order from sounddomain or crutchfield) and a Metra 40-EU10 antenna adapter. no factory modifications at all (you'll have to do some crimping or soldering to the wiring harness adapter), and you can get a headunit that does satellite, mp3, and has a silver face.

The Becker Monza is nearly identical to the OEM head unit except for the two small buttons, power and CD eject. they are opposite. The Becker only comes in black. You can see pictures in my gallery with the black face. Click here

What I did was to swap the silver OEM faceplate with the black Becker one and now it looks like it is the stock head unit except with MP3 and Aux-in for my iPod.

Now for the bad news, Becker doesn't sell head units in the US so you'll have to get creative and look around for an on-line store willing to sell one to you or find one on eBay like I did. Unless of course you aren't located in the US but I think the XM gives it away.
