Just some pics of my new car stereo. It is a single din and with a 9.7 inch screen, it workes on android 8.0. The screen is removable.

Yep, it has GPS. Costs around 330 US dollars without custom taxes.
One of my friends bought one last year, works fine, so I decided to buy one too. Very pleased with it.

So, some of the ads show it mounted horizontally, as opposed to vertically as you picture it.
Have you tried it that way ?
If so, does it somewhat free up at AC panel ?

I know other models have the screen horizontal.
The one I have, has brackets on the back size which can be moved to change the height settings. Mine is set so high so I can reach the bottom switches although it is not obvious on my pictures.
I rarely change my settings on the AC so I personally have no problem I can't reach the fan ****. Can change the temperature though.
These brackets can also be re-positioned to alter the screen to horizontal but I did not tried that. I'm not sure of the screen will flip like a smartphone or a tablet does. I don't think it will otherwise it would be mentioned in the description I guess..

What I'll do is change the brackets to horizontal to see how it looks and take some pics. A nice job for tomorrow.

Yeah, I am happy with it. One thing to keep in mind, although the brackets can be placed to horizontal, the screen does not rotate.
So if people want to have it horizontal, order horizontal
