Sorry I misused the word "change". What I meant was to do what is necessary to accomplish some preventive maintenance to keep from getting a sticky key in the future. Do the work before the problem strikes. Perhaps that means removing some culprits, or loosely means changing some culprits out.

Do you have anything that shows where the back up switch is located for an automatic?

That is for the six speed manual transmission, he wanted the auto transmission location which is in the shifter and not repairable.
