Default new sound system wanted

Hi Guy's, i am looking to upgrade my sound system . I already have a clarion double din head unit but i would like to fit upgraded component speakers in the doors and fit 2 12" subs in the boot/trunk of my coupe
.if fitting subs in the boot would i still replace the subs behind the seats as well?
Also any recommendations for door and behind the seat speakers?
Thanks in advance.

if you have factory subs behind the seats, then you DO have an Infinity amp.
It is located under the carpet at the front of the passenger foot well.

Hi ala_xfire, it did as you say have an amp but it was removed by previous owner as was the original head unit and replaced by a very cheap one.

Than that explains it. Thanks for the reply.
A few years back a friend ( maxcichon ) replaced the Infinity amp with a really good one, mounted under the passenger seat. I would blow your socks off

yes one of the ways i suppose, i have increased my weight by quite a lot by putting v8 in.
Does anyone know the dimensions of the door speakers and those behind the seats especially diameter and depth as my car is not here so i cannot check myself.
Thanks in advance.

for door speakers the cleanest i have ever heard/used are critical mass.they are pricey but the sound they produce are second to none.Focal,Hertz,Dynaudio,JBL,Polk Audio also make great sounding component sets as well.I have a roadster so I don't have as much trunk space so I made a box with 2 DC Audio 8 inch subwoofers(disconnected the puny subwoofers behind the seats)with a tuned aeroport on a Kicker 600 watt amp and it sounds good.Probably the smallest system I ever had lol;I'm used to my 20,000 watt stereo in my Dodge Ram lol

I cant figure out how to post so I'm posting here. I ordered this rockville kit yesterday - https://www.rockvilleaudio.com/rv122b/. The dimensions are 29.4" (L) x 18.4" (W) x 15.9" (H). Will they fit without cutting? I have the coup.
