Getting ready to dynamat the inside of the doors to reduce road and door closing noise. I'm replacing the inop tweeters but wondering if I should replace the door speakers, they're working and look to be in good condition. Question: Will the amount of money spent on new speakers be proportionate to the improvement to sound quality ???
" wondering if I should replace the door speakers, they're working and look to be in good condition"
The saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" means that you should not try to change or improve something that is already working well.
I used Kicker for Amp and Kicker for door and bulkhead speakers
all were a great fit but it needed time because I removed all the existing, all wires too, and replaced with new
The rear subs are now also front facing (crazy huge difference)
Much better sound as front facing.
If there was more room in the roadster I would have like to add a few more speakers but
no room and this year only 2,000 miles driven. It’s now back in the garage ready for winter
I bought a Mini Coupe as a daily driver. That little car came equipped with 10 speakers. Crazy amazing sound for a factory setup
