I know there has been a lot of threads about a dim radio display in sunlight but does this only apply to the 2004 model? I have a '05 and my display looks just like the one pictured that needs replacement. The TSB I found on a search references '04 crossfires. Has anybody owning a '05 had to have it replaced because of the dim display? My CD player started making a whining noise when you first put a CD in. I was just wondering if I'm entitled to a new radio anyway.
