PS ...On the main forum/ group home page you have the links for Crossfire website and Crossfire International forum switched.
CROSSFIRE WEBSITE opens Crossfire International and XFi INTERNATIONAL FORUM opens Crossfire website.

Thanks Valkryderguy. XFire2005 and Apkano. I updated the main page with a photo of your cars.

Valk, I checked all my links and they all go to the correct location, so I don't know what's happening.

Mixfire. Let me phrase this differently. The actual links take you to the correct sites. They are displayed in the wrong places. They need to be switched around from the headings they are currently listed under. At least that is how I am viewing them.

Valk

I think I corrected what may have been confusing; duplicate use of the letter i and the word international.
XFi International Forum (Linked to the forum) has been changed to:
XFi Forum (Still linked to the forum}.

I'm I on the right track?

That looks good.
I still think of the forum as just www.crossfireforum.org and not international or XFI. The XFI part is a forum within the forum.
It all becomes a little confusing especially if you are a newer member.

Thanks. I see your point that it can get confusing for new members. The idea is to promote and get people to join XFi thru either the forum or the new website. You can also do that by putting a link to the forum on your personal CarDomain page. Take a look in the left column of my page under Favorite Links.

Hmmm. I'm not sure that the D'Elegance flows with the intro (IMO).

What's the status on the 'hard hat' areas?

Also, I think someone mentioned before - it would be nice if the intro led you right to the homepage after it's finale.

Not trying to ruffle feathers, just curious. I, among many others, truly appreciate your work on the site.

1. Image transitions – I think these could be made more fun and cutting edge as our cars are. Knowing how cool these cars are I think a more mainstream or "Web 2.0" look would really wake up the site.
2. Navigation buttons – The first time you visit the homepage the load is neat seeing them fall into place, however once I go to another link and then decide to go back the buttons should already be there ready for me. In other words the buttons should only load once.
3. Typefaces – These can use a more modern touch as well. A cool sans serif font would work well with the style of the car. If you wanted to go a step up I would even suggest searching for a cool art deco font to really bring the character of the car into the site design.
4. Under Construction graphics – I realize these are temporary but again the hardhat, the way the type comes in & the font are all dated.
5. Image resolution/sizing – Again as Mike noted this is a huge area where a site can fall short. Seeing an image that is distorted or is too low of a resolution doesn't lend well to a visitor's experience.
In addition to the above items I also noticed that the membership page is left justified whereas the home page is centered. This should be kept consistent throughout the site.

Links to external websites should also be targeted to open in a new window. This makes for a better way for users to navigate around.

I have to say I agree 110% with number 2 of msheredy's post. Seeing the animated flash is nice...once! Animation is nice...but animation for the sake of being animated is redundant.

A... hey guys...I've never thought of myself as a member of a "brotherhood" being a girl and all. How about something gender neutral?

I think the 'brotherhood' part is a little out of place as well.

Comrades...would be Russian...

People...
And Associates...
And...???

Think there weren't HUMANS across time that were driven together with a common bond THAT DIDN'T TRY TO BE POLITICALLY CORRECT!!!

Don't read into it. If it offends you...Don't be so sensitive!
